Woman Suffering From COVID19 Explains It, Says It’s Like Having Glass In Your Lungs,’ Calls Breathing A ‘Battle’

With the increasing number of cases of coronavirus infected patients, it is becoming harder than ever to get a hold of the situation. As per the latest update on Worldometer, 386,317 cases have been recorded so far on a global scale. The novel virus has costed the lives of more than 16,000 people.

In the United States, more than 41,700 cases have been reported so far.

Addressing the issue, Trump at White House briefing, says ‘country not built to be shut down’. He quoted, “We cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself. We’re not going to let the cure be worse than the problem. At the end of the 15-day period, we’ll make a decision as to which way we want to go,” he said, referring to what he said was the coming “opening of our country.”

Many countries throughout the world have declared lockdown including the United Kingdom. Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of UK, has outlined strict new measures to tackle the spread of coronavirus, including a ban on public gatherings of more than two people.

In a video, shot in Hillingdon West London, a woman named Tara Jane Langston shared her experience after being tested positive for COVID19. The 38-year old woman filmed herself in the ICU in which she urges people not to take any chances when it comes to taking precautionary measures against the coronavirus.

In the video, Tara is seen with two tubes in her arms. She is also holding another breathing tube that she was using to speak while gasping for air.
Tara says in the video, “Anyone who is thinking of taking any chances, just take a look at me. I’m in the intensive care unit. I can’t breathe without this.”

She further says, “I’ve got a cannula, another cannula and a catheter. I’m actually ten times better right now than what I was before. I’ve lost count of the days. If anyone still smokes, put the cigarettes down, because I’m telling you now, you need your lungs and please none of you take any chances. Because if it gets really bad then you are going to end up here.”
