Vivek Oberoi shared a meme on twitter and after that he himself got trolled.

Yesterday Vivek Oberoi shared a tweet on his tweeter account stating his views on 2019 Lok Sabha Election. But the tweet was slammed by the panel and people across the globe.

The tweet mocked Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her relationships. The actor was badly slammed on Internet for passing such offensive comments on a woman.

NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma also condemned the tweet, saying, “This tweet is absolutely Disgusting, distasteful, and degrading a women.”

After tweeting a distatsteful meme on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi said there’s nothing wrong in what he said.

Talking to a leading newspaper,

Vivek said, “People are saying apologise. I have no problem in apologising, but tell me what wrong have I done. If I have done something wrong, I will apologise. I don’t think I have done anything wrong. What’s wrong in it? Somebody tweeted a meme and I laughed at it. I don’t know why people are making a huge issue out of it. Someone had sent me a meme which made fun of me. I laughed at it and I appreciated the person for his creativity. If someone mocks you, you should not take it seriously.”

He added, “Those in the meme don’t have a problem, but everyone else has. Kaam karne jaate hain nahi non-issues ke upar netagiri shuru kar dete hain. Didi put someone behind bars for a meme. People now want me to be behind bars too. They couldn’t stop my film. Now they are trying this.”

“I would want to meet the Women’s Commission… I have been working on women empowerment since the past 10 years, and I don’t just talk about it on social media… I am very careful as far as respect for women is concerned. I personally feel that there’s no disrespect (in what happened). I would meet the Women’s Commission and if they explain to me what is wrong in it, I would apologise,” the ‘Inside Edge’ actor told the media.
