Qayamat se Qayamat had two endings 

Aamir Khan’s debut as a lead character in 1998 was filmed with two endings, a tragic one and another with a sad ending. The director Mansoor Khan test-ran both the versions with few audiences all across the country. He ultimately selected the tragic version where both the characters died and were released.

Tradition of test-runs

Aamir always follows his traditions of test-runs. Most directors and actors hide their film previews, but Aamir always welcomes healthy criticism and is key to sustained success. His recent movie Thugs of Hindustan was a flop because Aamir had no control over the movie as it was a Yash Raj film.

First time with Big B

Thugs of Hindustan was the first movie that Aamir worked together with Mr. Amitabh. He has been on the Big screen for 32 years, and in his career, he has never worked with him. The closest he came was when Bachchan did a voice-over in Aamir Khan’s Lagaan.

After Aamir’s film was released, he said that he spent one and a half hours telling Sanjay why he hated the movie Black for how the young child was physically abused in the film.

Fanaa and Kajol

Aamir had played alongside Kajol in Indra Kumar’s Ishq and was not happy about it as she had not behaved properly. It was because of that they almost didn’t play alongside each other. In the movie, Fanaa Aamir played a terrorist. Aamir would have never agreed to play the same role with the current scenario if the position was offered to him today.

Lagaan is Aamir’s most successful film.

The movie is Aamir’s most successful movie, and none of his films have been as great as Lagaan, no matter how good they are. The film was first offered to Abhishek Bachchan by Ashutosh Gowariker, and he did it for two years, but Abhishek didn’t agree, and he gave up. Later he even approached Shah Rukh Khan. 

When Aamir heard the movie’s script, he immediately agreed, although wearing a dhoti was his only concern.
