He captioned the post with, “I want to be the professor. That’s why I’m wearing similar glasses and playing Bella Ciao. I want to put this out in the universe. Hello reverent filmmakers, are you listening? Please! I’m dying to do something like this. I’m itching to go on sets and work, like each and every human on this planet. We all want to go out and work. But patience is a virtue they say. Till then Bella Ciao. ? #MoneyHeist”
“The glasses, the movement,” Rodrigo said as he tried to look for similarity between Ayushmann and the Professor. About picking the actors for respective roles, Alex picked Vijay as the Professor, Mahesh Babu as Tamayo, Ajith Kumar as Bogota and Shah Rukh as Berlin. He also picked Ranveer Singh as Denver, and Surya as Suarez.
Further, Rodrigo was asked if he was aware about the huge Indian fanbase of Money Heist, he said, “I have a friend, who is an Indian actress, Usha Jadhav, and she told me about the phenomenon in India, and all I can say is thank you.”
