The coronavirus pandemic has tremendously affected the lives of a huge of people all across the globe. The ongoing battle with the deadly coronavirus is proving to be a long and strenous one. Many people from walks of lives have recorded from the COVID19, including some notable celebrities of the film fraternity.

Bollywood celebrities like Kanika Kapoor, Karim Morani and his family have fought the battle against CoV-2 and have tasted victory. From Tom Hanks to Idris Elba, many international stars have recorded from the illness. Let’s take a look at some of the celebrities who survived COVID19.

1) Kanika Kapoor


Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor who is best known for her song “Baby Doll” tested positive for coronavirus after her return from London. Her case was more of a controversial one and even a police complaint was lodged against her in Lucknow. She tested positive for coronavirus for 5 times untill the results finally came negative. She was released from the hospital earlier this month and was asked to stay in self-isolation.

2) Karim Morani and his family


Indian film producer Karim Morani and his daughters Shaza and Zoa Moran announced of being positive for COVID19 earlier this month. Due to early diagnosis and treatment, they had a quick recovery. Karim was the first to leave the hospital after his test results came negative.

3) Purab Kohli


Actor Purab Kohli who is currently living in London shared his experience of the battle against COVID19. He even revealed that it was his daughter who first caught the infection which later spread in his entire family. He narrated his entire story and ended it with, “I hope none of you gets it but if you do, know that your body is strong enough to fight it.”

4) Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson


Tom Hanks and his wife were in Australia when they tested positive for the deadly virus. During their entire recovery process, the couple kept their fans updated. After the successful treatment, they shared, “Hey, Folks… We’re home now and, like the rest of America, we carry on with sheltering in place and social distancing. Many, many thanks to everyone in Australia who looked after us. Their care and guidance made possible our return to the USA.”

5) Idris Elba


Idris Elba was among the few Hollywood celebrities who announced about getting infected with the coronavirus. Even though he didn’t show any symptoms, he went on take the test as he had come in contact with an infected patient. He and his wife both tested positive and fought the battle against the virus bravely. After recovery, he posted, “Take it from me, man. I thought I was definitely going to see the worst of it as an asthmatic, but thankfully I came through and so can you,”
